Bob2 runs a marathon
Hey long time no blog bobcast nation! I’m blogging this with my phone btw, imagine trying to convince someone 10 years ago that that would be a plausible sentence… Anyway so I’m on my way up to Duluth getting (passenger seat no texting and driving for this guy) getting pumped for the marathon in the morning! However, alas, I shan’t be running in the morn. I killed my knee on a 20 mile training run about a month ago and ran a really fast half marathon in the pouring rain a week later (1:56 thank you very much, beaten only by 2 Kenyans and a bicycle I do believe). So after that I could barely walk but I was still holding out hope that I could get this thing done – until I got a super nasty chest cold and couldn’t answer the phone without hacking up a lung. I know excuses excuses. Either way I’m gonna pick up my free t shirt and bib and paint Duluth as a marathon poser wannabee. FEEL THE BURN!
