City Council Meetings
All City Council Meetings are held at their respective city buildings and are open to the public.
The Parkersburg City Council meets regularly the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month at 7:30 PM in the Council Chambers.
The Vienna City Council meets at 6:00 pm on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month.
The Williamstown City Council meets the first and third Tuesday of each month.

Our Wood County Republican Executive Committee will be sponsoring a series of five Town Hall meetings between now and the General Election. The town halls will feature our Wood County Republican Candidates. This is your opportunity to hear them speak and to join in on the Q & A. The meetings are as follows.

Blennerhassett Island State Park, The Mansion by Candlelight
Our Premier event, The Mansion by Candlelight is coming in October on Friday and Saturday evenings, October 7 and 8, 2022. For two nights only! Blennerhassett Island Historical State Park takes on a more historic look when hundreds of candles light the way from the Island Belle paddlewheel landing to the Mansion, and other activities on the park. Sternwheeler rides will transport you back to the year 1805 where the Blennerhassetts are hosting a party on the island. On this autumn evening, electricity is banished when the mansion and the island are transformed the flame-lit world of the 18th-century. Reservations are required for this event.
The Mansion by Candlelight ticket includes the round-trip sternwheeler ride, mansion visit, the horse-drawn wagon ride and the servants’ party.
Adult: $35; Youth 3-12, $25.
The Harvest Supper is available separately and the cost $20 adult and youth $10 per person. Call for Event reservations to the Blennerhassett Museum at 304-420-4800. Don’t hesitate to make your reservations as Boats will sell out fast! Boats leave for the Island from Civitan Park in Belpre at 6:00, 6:30, 7:00, 7:30 and 8:00
