]]> http://thebobcast.net/2010/09/episode-4-4-the-bobcast-talks-company-beer-and-kanye-jordan/feed/ 0 SNL Premiere http://thebobcast.net/2010/09/snl-premiere/ http://thebobcast.net/2010/09/snl-premiere/#comments Wed, 29 Sep 2010 02:11:02 +0000 Bob1 http://thebobcast.net/?p=1809 Thanks to the wonderful invention known as DVR I am able to enjoy Saturday Night Live.  The SNL premiere was this past weekend and I was finally able to watch it.  They started off with an interesting choice as host and music guest.  Amy Poehler was just    not the big name that they should have chosen for the premiere.  The problem with bringing her in was that they just redid a bunch of old skits instead of opening up with new characters and their four new cast members.  For their music guest they chose Katy Perry.  Not a bad choice except when the first song of the season on Saturday Night Live was “California Gurls”.  Really?!  a show that references NYC  every week and has such strong New York roots couldn’t have had an artist from New York?  They couldn’t have waited for week two to have her come on and sing?  I don’t know about you but I think they could have started off with stronger guests.

He played in the legends & celebs all star game this year, and when Jennie Finch – a nice little snow monkey – decided to give Ricky the heat, Ricky didn’t like that, and Ricky went yard on the next pitch, only to gloat around the bases like the Ricky I love … Just hilarious!
